With a sound as big as Mr. T’s muscles, the Creative TravelSound i80 Portable Speaker for the iPod Nano 3rd Generation turns my baking kitchen into a mini night-club. Well, that may be a bit of an exaggeration, but when the microdrivers and digital amplifier are pumping at full throttle, and when the charge allows for up to 15 hours of continuous play, the pizza-dough tossing in my baking kitchen can get pretty out of hand! Get it? Out of hand!

But listening to music isn’t the only thing to can do when you connect the Creative TravelSound i80 Portable Speaker to your iPod Nano 3rd Gen. If your tunes are wigging your friends out you can always put on a mini movie, and wigged out they will be no more. The Creative Travel Sound speaker has actually been the best thing to happen to me since the Clock family from The Borrowers recently relocated to my neighborhood. Since the screen on the iPod Nano 3rd Gen looks like a movie screen to them, I actually have a social life now. They come over every night, but they promised they’re not just using me for my movies.

You can also completely and utterly rock and roll while you recharge it, since connecting it to the USB port gives you the opportunity to sync it with your iTunes. And since the speaker stand leans at an ideal angle, to get away with watching movies at work all you have to do is switch from a movie to a photo when you see boss boy walk into your section of the office.
