Letter by Angry Mother to the CEO of Dillyeo Inspires Change

Chicago, Ill, -- Online merchant, Dillyeo.com is making necessary changes regarding a letter received by an angry mom on Friday, July 24 recommending content alterations.

Dillyeo acknowledges the site is “a little edgy on competitive turf,” said Ma, the angry mom who wrote to Frank Pinto, the CEO of Dillyeo. The site has not been as tasteful to people’s feelings as they could be but thanks to Ma, Dillyeo will now promise to write with more sensitivity than ever before.

“Your mission is to sell items to folks, no matter what color, race, creed, nationality or planet they hail from,” said Ma. “It seems your writers are not talented enough to cater to a wider crowd of people.” Dillyeo does cater to people regardless of whom they are but Ma, it is not easy to write with as much comedy and personality as these writers do while trying to please everyone.

Dillyeo.com differs from the typical daily-deal site because of its absurdity. Dillyeo provides the lowest deals on the Web, and at times will sell a zany, unexpected product to keep visitors entertained. Since Dillyeo appeals to such a diverse target audience, it would never deliberately offend anyone.

“We apologize if we have taken our humor to an extreme,” said Pinto. “Our talented writers write this way on purpose because Dillyeo targets a more humor-friendly audience – after all, the site’s wacky products sell much better than the other more mundane products.”

Users of Dillyeo.com typically appreciate the wacky brand, so Dillyeo does not spare any ears when revealing content. Dillyeo’s target demographic has always enjoyed its unique brand – up until Ma’s letter.

“Swearing, rudeness and illicit behavior are not only intolerable for the older, sophisticated crowds these days,” said Ma.

So Ma, Dillyeo is sorry and will keep in mind that there are others visiting Dillyeo.com that may not be in the “typical” Dillyeo demographic. Although Dillyeo acknowledges that small changes need to be made, it also notices that Ma needs to relax a little. In the end, Dillyeo is taking Ma’s advice and cleaning up its act, but will keep its silly brand intact.

Have something to say? Don't be shy.

This article is hilarious and it amazes me that people take so much time complaining about something that is supposed to be funny!

I've been "laid" and dont have on a "girdle"and I find it offensive, too. Plus, the shipping takes so darn long-I cancelled my last order. You need to really get it in gear Dillyeo. Otherwise, Daily Steals and Yugster will out do you!
